Gas Heater

Your decision to use either an electric or a gas sauna heater may simply depend upon the type of fuel available in your region/area.

Many suggest that if gas is a viable option that the heat in a gas sauna tends to more consistent and easier to regulate, making it more user friendly. In any case, both electric and gas have their appeals and their down sides.

As with an electric heater, gas must be installed by an authorized gas installer with all the safeguards in place, i.e. ventilation.

 About Us

As with all sauna heaters, safety precautions need to be taken with gas heaters:

  • Do not touch the heater

  • Do not cover the heater

  • Room to be vented according to manufacturers specifications with appropriate ventilation.

  • Heater should be positioned as close as possible to the door.

  • Sauna should be constructed of cedar, do not treat or varnish the wood

  • Rock tray should be checked annually and broken cracked rocks to be replaced.

Always follow manufacturer’s instructions.

For obvious safety reasons it's advisable never to use a sauna without control over the temperature and/or time.
